SAFETY & RENTAL TERMS

  • Customers are responsible for their own safety while on the water.
  • Rentals are only for adults, or for minors accompanied by an adult.
  • All users of canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards must be able to swim.

Life Jackets & Phone Safety

  • Life jackets must be worn properly with all buckles and straps fastened.
  • Always be prepared for the possibility of unexpectedly falling into the water.
  • At least one person must carry a mobile phone in a waterproof pouch (around the neck or in a pocket).
  • Save the emergency number 112 and the rental location number to your phone.

Responsibility for Equipment

  • The customer is responsible for the rented equipment.
  • Any damage or theft must be reported to the rental provider to agree on compensation.
  • Maximum compensation is the replacement value.
  • Special care is needed near rocks, when moving equipment on land (carry, do not drag), and when landing.

Equipment must not be left unattended on the shore.
In case of theft, the customer is liable for the replacement cost.

Payment & Return

  • Rental payment is made before the rental period.
  • Equipment must be returned at the agreed time.
  • Equipment must be cleaned of sand and debris.
  • Boats must be turned upside down in the designated drying area.
  • Life jackets and paddles must be returned to the locked storage.

Weather & Cancellations

Paddling is always weather-dependent.
In strong wind or rain, both parties may cancel the reservation.

  • If cancellation is due to weather or another valid reason, the full payment will be refunded.
  • For other reasons, cancellations must be made no later than the previous day.
