KAYAKS, CANOES, AND SUP BOARDS FOR RENT 

Paddling is a hobby that can be enjoyed together with a friend or in larger groups. For safety reasons, paddling alone is not recommended. Paddling allows you to reach places that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to access. It is important to respect nature, protect nesting birds, and avoid paddling too close to cottage shorelines. More information about paddling etiquette can be found here.

The following equipment is available for rent:

• Kayaks
• Canoes
• SUP boards

The rental price includes:

• Equipment (kayak, canoe, or SUP board)
• Buoyancy aids designed for swimmers weighing 40–130 kg
  (For small children and non-swimmers, life jackets are recommended; these are not provided, so personal life jackets must be brought.)
• Paddles
• Spray skirts for kayaks

Outokumpu

In summer 2026, our rental point is located along the 12-lake paddling route, in the courtyard of Kaunisniemi Café at Rikkarannantie 37, 83500 Outokumpu. We also provide paddling guide services by agreement. Ready-made trips and courses can be found on the Partner Trips page.
